PUMPKIN PARTY

This year we are having a PUMPKIN PARTY for all the little youngins. We'll have a tub full of packing peanuts for the little ones to fish through for prizes, face painting, a "fishing" game, gobs, hot sausages, hot cocoa, pies, ice cream and a lot more fun.

I was looking for a way to have some fun for the kids that is indoor this year. It's so bitter cold and I hate taking them outside with their already runny noses. It seems they get rid of one cold only to get another. Fall being my favorite time of year, I had to make a party. What better way to enjoy the season?

I would also like to have a pumpkin patch outside and other fun as well. If you have any ideas be sure to tell me!!!

Heritage Days

This weekend is Heritage Days in Cresson. I am soooo excited.

I just got done wrapping all my soy tarts. I'm so hungry for some goodies now. Hot Apple Pie, Blueberry Cheesecake, Cranberry Walnut, Country Christmas, Cinnamon Buns and Vanilla Latte are some of the scents. They are so good.

Ryan warmed up an apple dumpling topped with a scoop of ice cream for me at the store yesterday. I don't know if I'll be lucky enough to sucker one out of him again today. I'm hungry for one now but they've been selling like crazy yesterday and today. I hope there is enough for tomorrow. They are soo delicious. The poor guy has been stuck in the kitchen for days now. I don't think we'll have the time to make cinnamon rolls. He does have gobs and chocolate chip cookies though.

I hope the next two days are a success. We waited till last minute to reserve a spot so we'll be at the far far end. I'm hoping to get a few trees out decorated so it attracts some attention.

My inventory for this year makes me really happy. I made a ton of little signs that everyone could afford. I know the cute little sayings are sweet and all but those ones that actually make you choke on your food are the ones I aim for. lol I think life is stressful enough, we need to laugh more. I'll tell ya, some are pretty funny.

Well, I'm off to work on a sign for the booth and clean my poor neglected house while the baby's asleep. She had two nasty shots today :o(
